1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II

This Series II E-Type underwent a comprehensive rotisserie restoration and performance-focused renovation completed in 1997 at approximately 45,000 miles by Ultimate Street Jaguar (GTJ). Power comes from the matching-numbers 4.2L inline-six, rebuilt to GTJ Level 3 specification with forged pistons, GTJ camshafts, balanced and blueprinted internals, upgraded oiling, Crane ignition, aluminum flywheel, performance clutch, K&N induction, stainless braided lines, and an oil cooler. Power is sent through a highly desirable GTJ 6-speed manual transmission, improving both performance and highway drivability. Additional upgrades include a limited-slip differential, vented brakes, stainless brake lines, adjustable Koni shocks, heavy-duty anti-roll bars, reinforced suspension components, revised steering geometry, Dayton stainless spoke wheels, Michelin performance tires, upgraded cooling, air conditioning, and an integrated removable roll bar. The body restoration included a new bonnet, floor panels, rocker panels, rear panels, chrome, lighting, windshield, bumpers, and additional structural work. The interior was also fully renewed with rebuilt leather seats, burl veneer dash, updated gauges, custom console, upgraded audio, and four-point harnesses.
